Ingredients- BBQ 7 Layer Dip
• ¾ c. Roasted Garlic Cream Cheese – see recipe below
• ½ c. Smoked Rope Sausage, chopped coarsely, Smoke’n Fast,
VE 060172
• 1 oz BBQ Sauce
• 1 oz Sharp Cheddar, shredded
• 2 tb Diced Tomato, Preferred Fresh Cuts
• 2 tb Sweet Hottie Pickles, chopped, Cool Crisp
• 2 tb Crispy Onions, Fresh Gourmet
• 2 oz. Kettle Chips, Great Lakes Chips
Ingredients- Roasted Garlic Cream Cheese
Yields 6 cups
• 3 c. Cream Cheese
• 1 ½ c. Sour Cream
• 1 ½ c. Roasted Garlic
• Salt & Pepper, to taste
Directions
For the Roasted Garlic Cream Cheese, combine all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor- process until smooth and homogeneous. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Assemble this dip by layering each layer in the order they are listed. First, in your dish of choice, spread the cream cheese mixture into a ¼ inch thick layer- sprinkle the warmed (or room temp) chopped sausage over the top. Then, drizzle the sausage with bbq sauce, sprinkle with cheese, tomato, pickle and crispy onion. Finish with freshly ground pepper. Serve the chips on the side for dipping.
